What ages are Juniors?
Juniors are aged from 5 years up to 18 years old.
When can I play?
At the coaching sessions and off-peak times.
Who can I play?
Any other junior member or adult member during off-peak times.
What equipment will I need?
Rackets and balls can be supplied, however you may wish to buy your own once you have been playing for a while. It is recommended that all juniors wear eye protection, which can be provided, when playing.
You will require non-marking trainers or proper squash shoes and suitable sportswear (no black soled shoes).
How can I improve?
Practise as much as you want and attend some of the junior coaching sessions held throughout the week.
Are the coaches qualified?
Yes! All of our coaches are England Squash qualified and hold a DBS certificate. They are also first aid qualified.
How is safety ensured?
Safety is paramount and we take the matter very seriously. We have safeguarding policies in place, so you can be assured that your child is in a safe environment.
How much does it cost to join?
Membership for juniors under 10 year is free, over 10 years is £25 per year.
When can I play?
Juniors can play on week days between 8:00 and 5pm and at any time at weekends during the periods the courts are available. A “nominated” junior, who is so selected by reference to their playing standard, is allowed to play at any time.
How much does it cost to play?
Court fees are payable at a charge of £3 off-peak and £4 peak per session, shared between the players. You may play as often as you wish during the specified times.
