Squash is a fast moving, dynamic game and is a great way to improve your fitness. It exercises all the major muscle groups and provides an intense cardio-vascular workout. With matches lasting only 40 minutes, you can easily fit squash into your schedule, whether at lunch-time or after work.

With around half a million people playing each month, squash is the 12th most popular participation sport in England. British players excel at international level, and there are increasing pressures for squash to become an Olympic sport – England Squash and Racketball (ESR) is actively supporting this move.

Duffield is an ESR-affiliated Gold Chartered Club. This means that the standard of our facilities are of the highest level and we attract world class players and competition. We have 5 top-class squash and racketball courts, including 1 championship glass back show court with seating for 60 spectators.

Squash for juniors

The development of junior players is one of the club’s primary objectives. Our licensed coaches provide a structured training programme for youngsters and we encourage boys and girls aged up to 18 to participate through leagues, club teams and competitions – all designed to be fun and enjoyable and help kids keep fit and healthy.
